About the event
. An evening made for lingering. For a remembered melody. A line of poetry that stays with you. A familiar story heard in a voice you may not have heard before. O Sakhi: Her Voice in Verse and Song turns towards the women of our epics, women whose stories have travelled with us through generations, and invites us to encounter them again through story, verse and song. Intimate, evocative and deeply rooted in the many textures of India, this is an evening to listen slowly, feel deeply, and rediscover something familiar.
